By revealing crimes within the US map, Eyes Open enables the exploration of the psychological and physical aspects of sexual assault, such as the relationship between attacker and victim, the type of self-defense employed, the outcome of self-defense, crime location, and several others.
Through this level of interaction, Eyes Open provides insight into the relationships between action and outcome and enables patterns to be revealed.
Developed as an alternative to traditional statistics, Eyes Open presents a better understanding of the factors involved with sexual assault and is an excellent learning or presentation tool.
